Roth ur

I haven't made a contribution to my Roth since I retired in 2011.  I did take a distribution at age 76 this year and Turbotax is asking me for the contributions made before 2024.  Why?? It is stopping me from efiling.  Lorraine

    This should be a Qualified Distribution and you should have code T or Q in box 7. You only need to indicate in the follow-up questions that you had the Roth IRA for 5 years and then you can ignore the net contribution prior to 2024 question. Leaving this question blank shouldn't prevent you form e-filing.
