Should I contact my bank if I did not receive a 1099R?

If you took money out of a retirement account or if you received pension payments then you need to include your 1099R on your tax return.  Contact the custodian of the account or look on their website to get your 1099R.

 

To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
