should I enter the letter or number first for box #7 from a 1099 R?

on the paper form, box #7 has B2 listed, I've tried entering the letter first, then the number, which was "rejected", then I entered the number first, then the letter, which was also "rejected". What needs to be corrected?

    B2 is the combination of 2 codes, B and 2. You should enter them both.

     

    In TurboTax Online, on the entry screen of form 1099-R, put a checkmark on I have more than one value in Box 7. A second Box 7 will appear and you can enter the two codes, one in each box. The order doesn’t matter; TurboTax will make sure you get the right results either way.
