Shouldn't the box asking about withholding on Form 2210 D be a date format?

These are the instructions: D Enter the date the remaining taxes will be paid or 4/15/2025, whichever is earlier.If left blank, 4/15/2025 will be assumed However, when I tried to type in 4/15/2025, it did not enter in a date format. I tried to leave it blank, but that was not accepted
