Hello I made 10,153 on social security benefits for 2024 my husband made from his job 40,060 on his w2 do I include my social security 1099 on our return this year

Did the IRS send you a SSA-1099? Then you most definitely enter it on your return.

Yes----ALL of your combined income goes on your joint tax return including your SS benefits.

 

 Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
