Question

Somehow i have gotten something selected causing me to be stuck requiring a 1099-R. How do I "de-select" it and where would i locate that item?

1) Go to Federal>wages and income>

2) You should be in an income Summary page and if you are, locate IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R). When you see that, select start or update. The program may indicate that there is a 1099R listed and if there is, there should be a trash icon button next to it to delete it.

You can also go to tax tools>tools>delete a form. if you see a 1099R form delete it. Delete any forms that indicates its a 1099R form.
