I received $113,007. in SSDI back pay.  I had been getting LTD taxed from a private insurance company,  to whom I had to repay 76,123.23  Do I owe taxes on the whole $113,007.?

    No. You have a couple of things reducing the tax. Since you had to repay some of the money, you have a claim of right repayment. Secondly, you don't pay taxes on the first $25,000 or $32,000 of Social Security, based on your filing status (single or married).
