States NYS withholdings can't be grtr than or = to gross dist or state dist. There is 0 in box 14 there' no box 14a. Gross dist is $16,000 state tax withheld is $1,260

Turbo is stating my 1099-r form needs review and that NYS withholdings can not be greater than or equal to gross distribution or state distribution. Withholdings is not greater. $16,000 gross distribution, in box 12 $1,260 NYS tax withheld. There is nothing in box 14 and there is no box 12a

Need to enter your box 1 gross distribution amount in box 16 State Distribution. This will clear the error. Just to make sure, the NYS tax withheld should be in box 14 of TurboTax.
