Taxable amount not listed on 1099 R

My 1099 R does not list the taxable amount. How can I figure this out and report to turbo tax

    You enter your 1099R exactly as it appears and let the software do the calculations.

    This doesn't answer my question. The amount listed on the form does not reflect my contributions to the account. Is there anywhere to show the actual "taxable amount"?

    Can you clarify, where is the distribution is from? Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, 401k? What is the code in box 7?

     

    Generally answering all follow-up questions will help TurboTax determine how much is taxable. Make sure you click continue after all Form 1099-Rs are entered to get to more follow-up questions.
