Question

taxpro deluxe error message which prevented me from filing electronically (1099r) box 14A- state tax withheld cannot be greater than gross distribution .

the answer is not true the bucket amount is not greater than gross distribution - 1099 R 14A has a conflict

You have this error when box 16 is not filled or filled with 0.

 

To resolve the error, you should fill box 16 with the same amount as in box 1.
