The 1099 I first entered - was incorrect. I then entered the SSA-1099. How can I get rid of the blank 1099-R form?

To find and delete the blank 1099-R, do a Search (upper right) for 1099-r, and click on the jump-to link (Mac users must find 1099-R in the Topics List).

This should show you a table of 1099-Rs that were entered (maybe just the one). Just delete it using the Delete button or the trash can icon.

If that does not work for you, you can do the following:

*** Desktop***

1. go to View (at the top), choose Forms, and select the 1099-R. Note the Delete Form button at the bottom of the screen.

*** Online ***

1. go to Tax Tools (on the left), and navigate to Tools->Delete a form

2. delete the 1099-R
