The drop down lists within TurboTax 2024 don't include my state of Washington. Is this intentional or a bug? If the later, what do I do about it as I go through my taxes?

There are 45 states in the drop down lists, and don't include Washington. How can I get a fix?

Washington does not have income tax, so it is not in the list to apply any withholding to. What are you trying to enter?

Washington is not in the drop-down lists for state tax withheld because Washington has no state income tax. If there is no state tax withheld, it is not necessary to enter the state. Leave the boxes for the state, state tax ID, state income, and state tax all empty. Do not enter anything in any of those boxes.

Which dropdown are you referring to? If this is on a W-2 or on a Form 1099, Washington will not be listed since there is no personal income tax in WA state.

If this on a W-2 leave boxes 15 thru 17 blank (empty) If this is on a Form 1099-R leave boxes 14 thru 16 blank (empty).
