The IRS took my whole return claiming I owe them money from the previous year which I certainly don't. How do I fix this? Please help?

First get a detailed transcript of the recent years filed to see what years the IRS says you owe on and if they changed something.

Many times they send a letter and when they get no response they assess the tax.
