Question

The state withheld box 17 on our 1099-INT is left, but the program will not allow us to submit our taxes with it blank. Can we type in zero to submit it?

Box 17 (state tax withheld) on the 1099-INT is left blank. TurboTax will not allow the taxes to be submitted if left blank. Should we type in zero or how do we submit it?

On the state boxes line on a 1099-INT, if there are no taxes withheld for the state, you leave ALL of the state boxes blank......15, 16, 17 entirely blank.
