Question

The turbo tax program will not accept my entries for my pension plan withdrawals. I have withdrawals from 2 firms. Why won't it accept the entries?

Explain what you mean by "won't accept"?

You should  have 1099-R's for  pension distributions.

I entered the numbers from my 1099Rs and on the same page there was an offer from Turbo Tax to provide services in addition to filing my taxes if I would provide my name as it will be on the filing and accept.  I was putting in the numbers and then choosing the button to not request additional help.  Everytime I did this, the program would state needs review, instead of putting the numbers into the calculations.  I finally was able to reach a very helpful rep with Intuit, who let me know I did have to provide the name because it would be my digital signature for filing and then decline the extra services.  That worked.  Thanks for your reply to my issue.
