There is nothing checked in box 2b and Box 12 on this 1099-R. Turbo Tax will not allow me to move on. How do I move on?

There is not a requirement that box 2b or box 12 be checked depending on the circumstances. I assume that there is an error message of some sort.

What do you mean "TurboTax will not allow you to move on?" How is it stopping you?

If it's a 1099-R form you also used last year, you might just need to "X" the box, then un-"X" it.

Yeah, there is an issue with some forms in the Online software, forms that carried over from last year......a bunch of yellowish boxes that require you do something with every one of them.

Easiest fix is to scroll to the bottom of the form and click <Back>

Then on the prior page click <Continue>

That should clear the yellow boxes and let you make entries in just the ones you actually need.
