Question

This year they are asking all kinds of question and keep checking my retirement benefits. This is the exact amount as every year. Does someone know why they do this?

I get the same amount and the exact same 1099-R every year since approx. 2005.  Why would they ask so much about it this year.  Did I answer a question wrong?

Not sure why you think you are the only one being asked the questions.  The software asks everyone the same questions.   When you enter your retirement benefits---just go through the screens and answer the questions on them.
