Question

Turbo Tax is not allowing me to list 1099's for my wife. Seems to be treating me as a single tax payer.

Review your input in the "My Info" section of TurboTax on the left black panel.

 

On the screen which says Personal info summary, below your name you will see your filing status.  It should say Married Filing Joint.  If it has anything else, select Edit to the right and update your input here.
