Question
Turbo tax smart check indicates a review of "account type" on four 1099-R entries. There are 3 choices: IRA,403b ,OTHER. 2 entries are IRA & 2 are OTHER. Why errors?
I selected IRA for 2 accounts, one from Fidelity and another from a state employee distribution.
I selected OTHER for 2 accounts that indicate the distribution is from a nonqualified annuity.
Why is smart check flagging these for review? I don't see any other options.
