Turbo Tax thinks i have additional medicare tax (Form 8959), but I don't. What's up with that?

Why do I have additional medicare tax (form 8959)?

Form 8959 for Additional Medicare Tax is automatically added to your tax return if your medicare wages (Box 3 on Forms W2) plus any self-employment income exceeds the following thresholds:

Married filing jointly    $250,000

Married filing separately   $125,000

Single   $200,000

Head of household   $200,000

Qualifying surviving spouse   $200,000

If you believe that your income is below these amounts please double-check your W2 entries as well as the net income for self-employment, if applicable.
