Question

Turbo Tax will not allow me to change the entry for RMD Excess Accumulation Worksheet, line D. It should me blank but is says “other” and I am not able to change it.

    To clarify, do you have code 7D in box 7?

     

    If you are using TurboTax Desktop the issue with code 4D and 7D has been fixed. Please make sure you updated the software. You might have to delete and reenter Form 1099-R.

     

    For TurboTax Online the fix is expected by the end of the week.
