TurboT is telling me to attach 1099-B which I never do when I do 8949 by hand. Do we have to comply with Turbo? My financial institution reported it to IRS.

if your sell details are all listed on your e-Filed tax return, there is no reason to send paper records to the IRS.

Note: It has been reported on the forum that TurboTax may suppress certain covered transactions without adjustments.

For these, Form 8949 is not required. no mailing is necessary
