TurboTax complains that the 1099-G my wife received for FAMLI in CO should not be marked as paid family leave.

I recommend updating your program and reviewing your input again to ensure your information is entered in the correct area of the program.  

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, to update your program, log back in and select Online in the menu on the top, and then select Check for Updates.

If that does not update your program, you can also manually update your program.

If you are using TurboTax Online, your program should be automatically updated.

Once you have confirmed your program is updated, please follow the steps here to ensure you have entered the payment in the correct area of the federal return.

Once you have verified the correct entry point on the federal return, click on State taxes to access your Colorado state return.

On the screen titled, "Here's the income that Colorado handles differently," scroll down to the section titled FAMLI Benefits Received. Select edit.

You will have the option to enter the amount of benefits from Colorado in this section.  Please enter the correct amount as reflected on your 1099 form.  See the sample screenshot below.
