Question

Turbotax has given my husband a $600 stimulus tax credit. He died in July, and I dont believe he qualifies for it. I think it's a glitch in the software. Any advice?

I'm sorry for your loss.

 

Your husband is eligible for the second stimulus payment of $600. The IRS says that individuals who died in 2020 may be eligible for a Recovery Rebate Credit on their 2020 taxes if they did not receive a second stimulus check.
