TurboxTax for 2024 will not allow me to enter my itemized deductions on 'Report 2023 Return Information'? How do I fix this? It seems to think I took the STD in 2023.

TurboTax seems to think I took the standard deduction in 2023. I itemized deductions in 2023. So when I try to enter data on the 'Report 2023 Return Information' page, I cannot enter my itemized dollar amount. This seems like a bug in the software.

Is this your first year with TurboTax?
Did you import your data?
Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online?

It's not necessary to enter your itemized deductions data from 2023 even if you did itemize your deductions. You can still itemize your 2024 deductions if that works best for you.
