Question

Virginia does not tax the 1st $30,000.00 of military retirement. Where do I enter this subtraction in Turbo Tax?

      Individuals who receive qualifying military benefits are eligible for the Military Benefits Subtraction. There is no longer an age requirement for this subtraction.

       

      1. Open you return and revisit VA state tax return
      2. continue to the screen Here's the Income That Virginia Handle Differently.
      3. Scroll down to Military Benefit Subtraction
