Yes, it includes the exemption, but you have to enter it manually.

1. As you go through the Virginia interview, you come to the screen with the title, "Here's the incomes that Virginia handles differently".

2. Look down to the first subheading: "Military".

3. Click on "Start" for "Military Benefits Subtraction".

4. On the next screen, enter the amount of the pension subtraction that you are eligible for (see code 60 on page 22 in the Virginia 760 Instructions).

Now the pension subtraction will be applied.
