We do taxes every year with turbo tax, we are retired, I want to know if I'm entitle to the informal caregiver credit,if I take care of my home and wife at home .

No, there is no informal caregiver credit allowed at the federal level. If your spouse is disabled and you pay for someone to care for her so that you can go to work, you may claim a child and dependent care credit. For more information, click here: Caring for disabled spouse
