We received an ssa 1099 for 2021 not 2020 there is no plance for 2021

In order to enter a 1099-SA you will go to 'Wages and Income' and scroll down until you find 'Retirement Plans and Social Security.  Click on Social Security and follow the steps through TurboTax.

Do you have the years right?  Online is only for 2021 returns.  Where is it asking for 2020?

Enter a SSA-1099, SSA-1099-SM or RRB-1099 under

Federal Taxes on the left side or top

Wages and Income

Then scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security

Then the second line - Social Security (SSA-1099. RRB-1099) - click the Start or Revisit button

2021 1040 line 6a is the gross Social Security amount and 6b is the taxable part of Social Security.
