We share our house with our adult daughter; if she regularly shares with household expenses do I have to claim that as income?

No, if she is just paying her share and not paying you, it would not count as income.

To be clear, if she writes us a check each month for her share of the expenses, it is not income? There is no lease or written, signed agreement.
