What do I do if I just noticed that one of my dependents Social Security number was put wrong on my tax return?

    If you have not filed your return yet, you can correct the Social Security number.  If you have already filed, then your return should be rejected by the IRS because the number will not match in their system.  Once the return is rejected, then you can make the correction and re-file it.
