Question

What do I use if the Box 12 codes on my W-2 have different descriptions than TurboTax?, I.e. TurboTax K- 20% Excise tax, my W-2 K - Pretax Dental and Vision Deduction.

There are several codes that my W-2 defines differently than TurboTax. In the past I was able to choose other and write in the correct description but now that option is gone.

"Other" is an option for Box 14. 

 

Please clarify if this is in regard to Box 12 or Box 14 on your W-2.
