This was just a normal distribution, correct?

Use Code 7: (a) for a normal distribution from a plan, including a traditional IRA, section 401(k), or section 403(b) plan, if the employee/taxpayer is at least age 59 1/2

If your Form 1099-R had 7A in box 7, codes 7 and A are separate codes.  Select code 7 in one of TurboTax's code selection boxes, mark the box to indicate that you have a second code, then select code A in the second box.  Code A with code 7 indicates a distribution to someone born before January 2, 1936 that might be eligible for special 10-year averaging on a lump-sum distribution.
