Question

When adding all my 1099-B sales the total reported by TurboTax is way higher than what was in the form reported by my broker

I looked at "Explain my taxes" and saw the breakdown per categories (W-2s, 1099-INT, DIV and B). All were correct but not 1099-B which is much higher than expected. There are 150 entries in my 1099-B and I checked almost all of them and found no wrong info. It feels like TT is double counting.

You should review your IRS form 1099-B information to make sure that you are comfortable with what is being reported.

You are able to review and correct the transactions that are reported within the TurboTax software.

Check the box to the left of the transaction to initiate Bulk Edit.  The pencil icon to the right may also be used to edit or correct the transaction.
