When asked if a rollover was to a designated Roth401k or 403b plan, do I answer yes or no because it was rolled over to a 457b plan?

Didn't know if it was looking for a yes or no it was rolled over (in general) or specifically to a 401 or 403.

If a box 7 code G and box 2a is zero then answer no.   That is asking if the amount was converted to a after-tax Roth account.    Assuming that it was not, then answer no to the two Roth questions and the default is a Traditional account.

Since it's not permissible to roll over from a traditional account in one qualified retirement plan to a Roth account in a different qualified retirement plan, the rollover *shouldn't* have been to a Roth account, so the answer to both Roth questions *should* be No.
