When checking out, it says my total is 85. I want to take out turbo tax delux which is $50

How are you wanting to pay?  There is an extra fee if you want to pay out of your Federal refund.

Are you preparing both Federal and state returns or just a Federal?

Or did you choose the optional MAX benefits?

Online Deluxe is currently discounted at $40 (or $39) for a Federal return and $40 (or $39) for a state return.   If you choose to pay the fees out of the Federal refund, there is an additional $40 service fee ($45 for California filers.)

To check your fees go to the left menu column.  Click on TAX TOOLS, then TOOLS.   Then click the blue button MY FEES.    You may be able to remove something.   We can tell you more once you say what all you are being charged for.
