When do I add my wife's income to the application?

You enter both of your incomes as you go through each section. In the w-2 section, you would enter both of your w-2s, then move on to the next section. If you both have 1099-R forms, you will click on Add another 1099-R to add multiple forms. You have to tell TurboTax whose form it is when you enter the form, see example below.
