Question

When filing the state portion, for pulling an early retirement. Do I put the whole amount I pulled in the annuity section or is there a field that would state the amount I should put in the box?

I do not show any state tax being withheld only federal.

When entering your 1099-R information, enter exactly as indicated on the form you received.  When the state question comes up, the distribution amount should be the same as gross distribution in box 1 of the form 1099-R.
