When filling jointly if you are younger then the mandatory retirement age for a 401K and your wife is at the mandatory age. Do I need to make a withdrawal?

You've wife's age has no bearing on when you must begin taking distributions from your 401(k).  Filing status has no bearing on when you must begin taking distributions from your 401(k).  If you had not yet reached age 73 in 2022 or you are still working for the company that provides the 401(k), you don't have to take a distribution.

401ks, IRAs, HSAs, and other retirement accounts are owned by one person, even if you file jointly.  The age and other rules only apply to the owner.
