Question

When i enter HSA contrib, i see that it says employer contrib. = 3500. Of this amount, i contributed 2500. So does this count as 'any contributions you personally made' ?

This is a bit confusing, but if you are having pre-tax amounts deducted from your pay to fund an HSA then those contributions are included in "Employer Contributions."  That's just the way this works, but it doesn't affect your tax benefit for making your own contributions to the HSA.  Those pre-tax contributions aren't taxed but end up in your HSA account.

If you make after-tax contributions, those contributions would be included in "any contributions you personally made."
