Question

When I imported my 1099 Consolidated tax statement for 1099 Div it left the ordinary dividend in box 1a as $0 instead of $5245 .33 as on the statement. Why?

Ordinary dividends are taxable at your ordinary tax rate. 

 

I can't say why the import didn't include this information, but you do want it to match your form. You can edit this number, so it reflects the correct amount.
