Where can I find the clue or verify whether I took IRA deductible or not from the 1040 forms filed in the past few years?

Hi experts, I can't remember whether I took the IRA contribution as the deductible or not (due to different income in different years) in the past few years tax filed, where can I find the clue or verify whether I took IRA deductible or not from the 1040 forms?

As I have done some traditional IRA converted into Roth IRA, I want to record all those IRA contribution to be whether deductible or not during the tax year to ease my later tax complication from this conversion.

For the last few  years the IRA deduction is on Schedule 1 Part II line 20 which goes to 1040 line 10.

Hello VolvoGirl,

So the moral of the story is to save all the old returns so you

can calculate this very complex situation.    I use TT and have the .pdf files

for the last 10 years.   I keep them on a CD as a hard storage...
