Where can I find the Maryland State Military Retirement Pay Income Tax Deduction for military retirement pay received in that state?

Is there an itemized view that shows it was applied? I have reviewed my state return and there is no mention of it.

Yes, up to $20,000 of retired military pay can be deducted from your Maryland income.  If properly reported on your federal return, this will automatically flow to your Maryland state return and will appear in Line 13 of your Form 502 and there will be code "U" defining what type of income subtraction it is.

This took me awhile to find my mistake on the federal form. I even checked last year's to see where to enter it. I had made a mistake confusing qualified vs nonqualified. Had been doing ones with qualified and didn't see military pension under non qualified. Just a heads up for anyone who missed this.
