If you cashed in a regular certificate of deposit and have an early withdrawal penalty there is a box to check that will open more boxes.
- To record this information in TurboTax Free follow the steps here.
- My Account > Tools > Topic Search > Type early withdrawal penalty > Go
- Continue to go to the 1099-INT > check the box
- Click the screenshots attached to enlarge and view for your assistance.
