Where do I find info for form 1040 line 2b?

Line 2b is interest income you received that is tax-exempt.  If you received this type of interest you will have a tax document either a 1099-INT or 1099-OID. 

 

Instructions for where to add this information in TurboTax

  1. Open (continue) return if you don't already have it open.
  2. Click on magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner
  3. Type in the box that opens the tax form you received
  4. Click on the first option 
  5. Enter the information into TurboTax
