Regarding the 1099-R United States Railroad Retirement System, where do I find the Plan cost at annuity starting date?

To find the "Plan cost at annuity starting date" for your 1099-R from the United States Railroad Retirement System:

Form RRB-1099-R: Check to see if employee after-tax contributions (plan cost at annuity staring date is listed anywhere)
Records: Look through your old records for documentation of after-tax contributions.
Annuity Administrator: Contact the Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) if you can't find the information. You can visit the RRB Contact Us page for assistance.
