Where do I input my IRA contribution when filing taxes?

    To enter your 2024 IRA contributions:

    1. Open or continue your return.
    2. Select Federal
    3. Go to Deductions and Credits.
    4. Scroll down to Retirements and Investments.

    You may be able to deduct contributions you make to a traditional Individual Retirement Account (IRA). The deduction may be limited if you or your spouse is covered by a retirement plan at work and your income exceeds certain levels.
