Where you report Form 10999-G depends on what type of income is reported. If your 1099-G was issued to report unemployment compensation or paid family leave, then follow the directions below:

  1. Log in and open your return
  2. Click the Federal tab on the left side of the screen
  3. Scroll down to see a list of all income
  4. Click show more beside Unemployment
  5. Click Start beside Unemployment and Paid Family Leave

If your Form 1099-G was issued to report state and local refunds received, follow the directions below:

  1. Log in and open your return
  2. Click the Federal tab on the left side of the screen
  3. Scroll down to see a list of all income
  4. Click show more beside Other Common Income
  5. Click Start beside Refunds Received for State/Local Refunds
