Where do you enter the exemptions for distributions from a 457b (government) plan? "Identify the Plan" lists Qualified, Non-Qual, Annuity, or Endowment. None apply.

There appears to be no place for entering the exemptions for a 457b distribuition.

A governmental 457(b) plan is a qualified plan.

A governmental 457(b) plan is a qualified plan.

To get the exemption in Turbotax 2024, enter it on the NYS Pension/Annuities Worksheet, Part II, item 4b as an override, to a max of $20,000,  for New York State. That amount then carries forward to the NYS IT 201 line 29 but not as an override. I had tried doing it directly on NYS IT 201 line 29, but that prevented electronic filing.
