Where does my social security show up on my return

I didn’t enter amounts from my ssa-1099

Please follow these steps to enter your SSA-1099:

  1. Login to your TurboTax Account 
  2. Click on the Search box on the top and type “Social security income”
  3. Click on “Jump to Social security income”
  4. Answer "Yes" to the question "Did you receive Social Security benefits?" and click “Continue”

 

Please see Is my Social Security income taxable? for additional information.

 

 

 

Please look at line 6 on Form 1040 to see your Social security income.

  1. Click on "Tax Tools" in the left menu
  2. Click "Tools"
  3. Click "View Tax Summary" in the Tool Center window
  4. Click on "Preview my 1040" on the left
